Ingredients
- 3 Large Onions
- 1 Bottle Ketchup
- 1 Bottle Yellow Mustard
- 1 Bottle Guldans Spicy Brown Mustard
- 2 Bottles Beer MGD and High Life are Acceptable
Servings: Lots
Instructions
- Step 1 Chop or Dice the Onions. Both styles work well. Just depends on your crowd. We find the kids prefer the diced and the grownups like the chopped stringy style. Step 2 Place onions in mixing bowl. Add generous amounts of ketchup and both types of mustard. Stir until completely coating the onions. Cover and store the onions in refrigerator overnight. Step 3 Make a rectangular foil 'boat' with 3/4" high sides. Use TWO pieces of foil so the 'boat' is double lined. When grill is hot, dump the onions in the foil and place on the grill. Add 1 bottle of beer in 1/4 increments throughout the 20 minutes cook time. Stir occasionally, Drink the other bottle of beer while waiting. Serve with tongs when onions are translucent.
